PATENT PORTFOLIO
The company has filed three
patent applications with the European Patent
Authorities, through the patent law firm of
Eisenfuhr, Speiser& Partner.
The main patent “Press Unique”
is a fully new concept of brewing Espresso coffee.
The basic advantage of the
invention is that all ingredients including water
(or any other liquid) are pre-packed in a “all in
one” capsule (Pressocup®) and that at no
point in time during the brewing process there is
direct contact between the ingredients and the
machine (Pressolab®).
The same features apply for
other hot drinks prepared with the Press Unique
method like tea, chocolate and soups.
Since the process is sterile
it opens new opportunities in specific requirements
for medical applications and baby food.
The second patent application,
the Press Unique “Auto- Frothier” is a refined
method to obtain the desired optimal temperature and
substance of the milk used to make a Cappuccino ,
operated by the steam available from the machine..
The third patent, the Press
Unique “Auto Tamper” is a device, operated by the
steam of the espresso machine that will always apply
the optimal desired pressure to the porta filter.
